We often turn to the web, social media, or even professionals, only to end up overwhelmed and frustrated. In these moments, the simplicity of the solution eludes us.
We end up focusing on the complexity of the issue rather than looking for a simple solution, leaving us to adopt draconian measures to fix it.

Time to Talk Day, was launched in 2014 – the idea being to get people talking to break the stigma that surrounds mental health problems. Although #mentalhealth problems affect one in four of us, people are afraid to talk about it.

It is a myth that mental illness has to do with ageing. In fact, mental health disorders affect younger adults more than the elderly. An alarming fact is that fifty per cent of mental illness begins by age 14, and three-quarters begin by age 24.
